Permanent Makeup

Intradermal pigmentation is a revolutionary method of applying micro-insertions of natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin using special dyes through a delicate handpiece. This state of the art technique is medically proven. It is designed to be completely safe and is used for a variety of permanent cosmetic enhancements including eye liner, eyebrows, lip lines and colour and lash enhancement.

One session is usually sufficient to pigment an area and is done using a topical or local anaesthetic. Most people enjoy an almost immediate recovery and resume all normal activities within 24 hours. Topical antibiotic ointment is used for a few days. Depending on the area treated, you may be asked to refrain from applying makeup, avoid direct sunlight and avoid wearing contact lenses for a few days. You may experience slight swelling in the treated area, but this will subside with the use of a cool compress.

A skin care regime will be discussed for maintenance of your newly rejuvenated skin.

The Deep Cleansing Glycolic Facial is a treatment involving a deep pore cleansing with a light glycolic peel, which helps to break down trapped oils and dead skin cells. Pores are cleaned out, and then followed by a purifying mask, which helps to soothe and close up pores. You will also receive skin care advice on how to maintain clean, healthy skin at home.

Manicures & Pedicures

So many of us take for granted the amount of work our hands and feet do. So why not give them a treat? Our manicures will take care of your cuticles, dry skin, nail shape and then finished off with a polish of your choice. Relax while your feet are exfoliated, cuticles softened, nails shaped and polished to perfection.

Lash Revolution

For the lashes nature should have given you! At last, eyelash extensions that last up to 1 month. Individual lashes are attached to your natural ones, using a United States Pharmaceutical grade adhesive. Say goodbye to the days of the artificial look with strips and clusters of lashes and hello to long, thick, pre-curled lashes. Waterproof, these are ideal for vacationing on the beach and in the pool and no mascara is needed. Touch-ups are generally done every 4 weeks to replace lashes that have shed during a normal life cycle. Great for brides, special events, vacations and everyday wear.

Peels

The Vitalize Peel® is a clinically proven, effective and gentle formulation that smoothes and corrects age spots fine lines and wrinkles as well as acne. Depending on the condition of your skin, a series of peels may be most beneficial for you. A daily maintenance program will be discussed with you, to help maintain your smoother look.

A Glycolic Peel is a mild “lunchtime exfoliation” with no downtime. It revitalizes the complexion and fights sun damage, fine lines and hyperpigmentation. Also helps with the improvement of mild acne scarring.

Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is an effective, safe way to remove unwanted hair from the face, abdomen, legs, breasts, underarms, back, bikini and arms. The LightSheer™ diode laser is a state-of-the-art system specially designed to remove hair faster with less discomfort and more reliably than other methods. The laser requires that the hair have colour, therefore blonde, grey and white hairs will not be affected. Dark, coarse hair with lighter skin is the best combination for treatment with the LightSheer™ diode.

The laser produces a beam of highly concentrated light, which is well absorbed by the pigment located in the hair follicles. During the procedure, the laser pulses for a fraction of a second, long enough to heat up the hair and significantly impede the follicles ability to re-grow. This process treats numerous hairs at the same time, making the LightSheer™ diode appropriate for treating even the largest areas of the body. Side effects can include redness and swelling around the hair follicle. Most people require a minimum of 4 – 6 treatments per area.

Available only through a physician’s office, the Alyria Skin Optimizing System and Glytone® Skin Rejuvenation System are two of the most popular skin care lines that we carry. Both lines contain glycolic acid, a type of alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) naturally found in sugar cane, and is the exfoliant of choice. It works by deeply penetrating the skin’s surface and loosening the top layer of dull, damaged skin cells to leave you with smoother, younger looking skin.

We carry the Jane Iredale line of mineral makeup which is 100% minerals, talc free and not tested on animals. Offering superb coverage in a light weight formula, this makeup is recommended to patients to reduce the redness following laser skin resurfacing, yet is ideal for all skin types. This makeup is actually good for the skin!
